Women, Peace & Security (WPS, or UNSCR 1325)

In 2025, unanimously approved UN Security Council Resolution 1325 celebrates 25 years. It's impact and relevance spans countries across the globe, of all cultural, religious, and political contexts, with over 114 nations with WPS National Action Plans.  CultureBridge Partners is committed to taking WPS into the mainstream, based on abundant data and evidence that greater women equality is causally linked to stability, a prerequisite for growth. We bring decades of expertise to global government entities in developing and implementing strategies to meet global and national WPS commitments including domains of Air and Space Defense. While WPS commitments are primarily focused on national security-focused government institutions, companies and civic organizations are increasingly expected - and advised - to integrate WPS principles into their cultures, programs, and operations.

Our WPS-related capabilities include:

  • Strategy design and implementation for government, civic and military partners globally.

  • Tailored training for specific operations or global missions.

  • Advise in developing Gender Focal Point networks and communities of practice

  • Gender and inclusion analyses within organizational assessments and program cycles

  • Localization of WPS and gender strategies for regional or institutional contexts

  • Integration of gender perspectives into security, stabilization, and development planning

  • Monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks for WPS implementation
